Savasana For Body Relaxation

We have start with the term “asana” which is part of most of the Sanskrit pose names. “Asana” is defined as any of the yogic postures or movements, but it translates to “seat.” It is said that's only the posture used to seat for the longer duration.

Savasana is one of the most important  yoga pose. It is also known as Shavasana an Shivasana. In savasana, you lie flat on your back while resting your arms and legs at 45 degrees. Savasana is considered to be so important because you can attain many benefits by practicing it.

Benefits of Shavasana – Corpse Pose :

-- Don't underestimate the art of relaxation. Savasana can be the most difficult pose of your practice. Although it looks easy, Savasana (Corpse Pose) has been called the most difficult of the asanas.The reason is that the art of relaxation is harder than it looks.

The final pose of any yoga class is one of deep restoration: Corpse Pose, also sometimes called Final Relaxation Pose.
